Mini-mix 1.1
Submitted by Chalotron
With mini consoles being so popular right now along with the front end themes inspired by them I thought I'd try and replicate the mini experience for not just the systems that already have mini consoles but expand that to over 120 systems each with their own mini/classic styled game selection screen and with their own system appropriate music. I really hope you guys like it as I'm really happy with how it's turned out.
As usual with my themes I have a lite version with a single audio track and a full fat version with mostly new and arranged tracks than usually come bundled with my other releases and if you have the storage space is the one I'd recommend for the true mini console experience. Also recommended to be used in kiosk mode.
Most system icons are taken from Ruckage's SNES mini set and Mahare's great work expanding the icon set.
New for version 1.1
Slightly revised home screen icons.
CPS1, CPS2, CPS3 and Japanese PC Engine added. Don't think it's currently possible to launch games through Exagear in DIG yet but hopefully someday so Windows 95 also added.
I wasn't completely happy with the artwork for some of the systems so I've either tweaked or remade them. These systems are Colecovision, N64, Sony Pocketstation, Commodore Amiga, VC4000, Atari 8bit, MS-DOS, J2ME, Nintendo GameCube, Ti99, BBC Micro, NEC Supergrafx, Sufami Turbo, SNES CD, Vtech Creativision, Supervision 8000, Bally Astrocade.
Full fat version - 821MB

A few screenshots.
Version 1.1 of this theme coming soon.
Yeah, the dev is back working on DIG. The forum is all nice and tidy again, updates are coming and you can submit your themes to digdroidapp@gmail.com
Requested alternative background for original PlayStation more in keeping with the overall aesthetic of recreating the authentic mini console look. Rename this to psx.png and pop it into where your themes are stored on your device.
Slightly cleaner looking BG for Gameboy. Rename to gb.png and drop it into where Mini-mix theme is installed on your device.
I've only just learned that there is an Android port of Open Beats of Rage. Hopefully just a matter of time before DIG officially supports it.
many thanks
Looks like the new beta update broke this theme.
tons of games show up as “Are you my mother” by Dr Seuss
@chalotron @Dig
Are there any specific systems affected? I've only had a little play around but I've not spotted any issues such as this so far.
The new bug fix update corrected the issue.
I know DS and 3DS were affected unless you changed the view. Corrected now though👍
Phew. Glad to hear it's fixed.
Mini-mix 1.1
https://digdroid.com/forums/discussion/9038/mini-mix-1-1Hi Chalotron! Im new at this Frontend and I've tried your Mini Mix 1.1,its amazing! But one question. How to get the other systems? I have only 85 systems on the system page.
Currently the only way to get more than the 85 pre-configured systems is to create clones of those systems. You can do this by long pressing on the system you want to clone e.g. clone N64 to create N64DD, clone NES to create Famicom Disc System. However, if you want all the theme media to match up properly, you must also setup the clones in a specific order. That order is as follows.
1 Atomiswave
2 Jaleco classics
3 Tecmo classics
4 Sam coupe
5 Wonderswan b/w
6 Neo Geo Pocket b/w

Hi! I'm sonictheploofdog, in a different account cuz my email just got hacked. TwT
Thank you for the help in the previous comment, and i have one question...
In the cloned systems that dont have an emulator like Commodore CD32,16plus4,Windows,The SEGA Pico,DOOM,Wolfenstein ecc... how can i find and add emulators? if you answer me i will thank you cuz i really like the commodore 128 and the sega pico.
For Sega Pico, you can clone Sega megadrive/genesis, this carries over the emulator profiles from the megadrive including picodrive which emulates the Sega Pico.
For CD32 you can clone Commodore Amiga and use either UAE4all or UAE4droid.
For C16+4 / Commodore128 you should clone C64 and use Vice.
Doom, Wolfenstein and Windows have been requested to be added properly by the dev. DIG does offer the ability to add emulators manually but I'm not sure how to use the feature properly.
Did you successfully manage to launch CD32 games from Dig using this method? For me, it scrapes the games based on the folder names and when you try to launch them it does open the emulator but it takes you to the Amiga workbench screen instead of launching the actual game. With disk games, I get the option in Dig to select a specific game disc I want to launch. With CD32 games I don't have any such option and it doesn't seem to be passing the .bin or .cue files.
I've heard that is possible to play them via UAE4all but I don't personally own any CD32 games to test for myself. I'd really like to try out the CD32 version of Exile if I could get my hands on it. It was always my favourite BBC Micro game and that looks like the definitive version.
Just as an FYI, I actually got CD32 working in DIG with some help of the Discord: cloned PS1 as it recognizes .cue files and then added P-UAE as an emulator. Scraping unfortunately doesn't work anymore with this method.
Glad to hear you got it working. Gonna have to source myself some images and give it a try. Thanks for the update.
Few more alternate backgrounds.
Version 1.2 coming soon.
Version 1.2 is now ready.
New Mini Consoles in this version are
Nintendo Switch
N-Gage
Beats of Rage
There are emulators for these systems available on Android but DIG doesn't officially support them yet. Hopefully soon.
All audio tracks recoded to 128kbs greatly reducing file size for full phat version to around 500mb, down from 820mb.
PlayStation and Game Gear now have entirely new mini console art to make them more closely resemble the retail mini consoles available for them.
Several other systems have brand new or improved art for the mini console screen including Dreamcast, Virtual Boy, Amstrad CPC464, Intellivision, Gameboy Advance, Game and Watch, Atari 5200, Sega Mega CD and others.
All systems also now have all new individual game info screens with a nice new shiny start button to start the games. Hope you all like it.
