On PC I have made a setup where in winuae I set up a hard drive folder that contains whdload and all my games. The startup script runs whdload for a selected game. When I select a game from a launcher a bat script is run that edits a file I created …

Thanks for explaining.

Hi I'm looking at a way to get my whdload games running using a similar method to yours. Can you explain a but more what your code does? Is this code run before the emulator starts? Is it android code?

Atari and 3D0 - sounds like you are missing the system roms. In retroarch you can do a check to see if the correct roms are found.
-
Are you using 64 bit retroarch. There was something about 64 bit where you had to do things slightly different. I'm on 32 bit so unsure what it was
-
Have you selected the correct core in dig?
-
Am I right in thinking they all have the same filename just a different extension? If so you can set the view to group the files.
-
Can you launch the games directly through retroarch? Have you downloaded the correct core for the system you are trying to launch? Do you have your system rom/bios files configured correctly?
-
1) just remove the directory from the file path list and rescan the directories. It will remove the games it doesnt find. 2) it should remember the status based on your google I'd but see 1 as you dont need to do that 3) open up retroarch outside of…

Which platforms? Have the cover folded been created?
-
It's just a front end. When the scan has finished if your games aren't listed you need to go into the system that you want open the settings and look for the option to manually set the rom path. Then point it to your games and do another scan
-
Just edit the config for the missing core with the details of the new core
-
Just re-reading your original post and you talk about a ScummVM file. I havent used any ScummVM files. I'm just pointing directly at the game folders.
-
That's what I meant yes. The way I have it set up is all my games are unzipped into folders that are named as the game. I then scan the root folder that contains the scumm games. Then it just worked. This probably isnt helpful to you though becau…

Have you scanned the folders manually or just the autoscan? Mine didn't find the games with autoscan but manually worked fine
-
Sounds good. Only problem you might find is that in the rom paths it shows both the old and new paths which can make rom path management a bit cumbersome
-
I should have said hide not delete. Changing paths works when your games are all in individual folders but if all the files are in 1 folder hiding is the best option.

Dig (developer) said he would think about what can be done when drive names change because of an issue I have where sometimes my hard drive changes name. However this could be way down his list if priorities right now so I think your only option is…

Delete it from the Wii/Naomi list then go to Gamecube/Dreamcast list, go to the settings and manage folders, make sure it contains the path to your game and the rescan the folder for that system
-
On the game list go to manage system and the choose emulator
-
Open up the game info screen, go to the game options and there is one in there to change the emulator
-
Go to the settings. There is an option to backup and theme options available there
-
Maybe I'm mistaken then. I only use adfs so never really tried it
-
I think dig can read the uae config files as game roms. So you scan the folder with the config files not the folder with the adfs
-
It's in the settings under view I think
-
I think file path key is the key in command line for the game file. So it could be Retroarch -rom "filepath" So the fole path key would be rom

Yeah. The drives name actually stayed the same but the identifier that my TV uses for it changed. So the actual drive is formatted with the name Android. When accessed by apps on my TV its name is made up of letters and numbers. Eg ab1234 5678 1 da…

This happened to me but it was when my drive randomly changed its name. Not a big change just added an extra character. Could check if this happened to you

Check this thread. https://digdroid.com/forums/discussion/209/still-looking-for-answers As you will see I've been through the same issue as you :) . Kickstarts need to be named kickstart v1.3 and kickstart 3.1 . Put them in a folder and then add tha…

Are the kickstarts still empty in the dig created config files? If so then you need to make sure you have the correct kickstarts with the correct names and they need to have been detected by dig in your amiga games
