You can setup a folder for each system with just a single game (or dummy zip file) in it on your internal card and setup another rom path. You might probably still have to manually rescan but the system would remain visible and accessible.

Retroarch just released the "play.libetro.android.so" core for ps2 games but I've no idea how well it plays anything. Might be worth a look though.

No problem. When you are in the games folder, hit the 3 dots, select View as, then configure, then resize. Click right to make em bigger.
