Dig stuck on several images?
Long story short I used Skraper to scrub some 50,000+ covers and screenshots, then I shrink them to about 25% of their original size to save space.
I pointed Dig to those folders and refreshed all images.
Everything loaded correctly and I took forever, however, and a little wrench at the top of screen won't go away and when I press it it says it's loading about 5,000 images and it just seems to be stuck on that number.
Is there any way to fix this or figure out which images are jamming it up? All the images are PNG files.
One thing I noticed is that Dig won't let me back up my settings until that wrench goes away.
Thanks for any advice.

Dig stuck on several images?
https://digdroid.com/forums/discussion/9274/dig-stuck-on-several-imagesHi, Dig should eventually sort this out, can take a while though. I've been through this before after a large amount of images the app is checking.
To create a backup while this is happening, go to Options> Game Covers then disable "Download Cover Images Automatically", this should remove the wrench allowing you to backup.
Try dealing with this...
Hey, I fixed my problem.
I figured it had something to do with the images in question's properties so decided to just 'normalize' all of the images. It really was guess work but it turned out to solve the issue.
Using the Ifranview program, I converted all the images in bulk to...
* 24 bit rate color depth
* Resize to 1024 width, preserving the aspect ratio. Also made sure it only resizes images larger than 1024, but doesn't do anything to the ones smaller (don't want it stretching any images cause they'll get blurry).
This seems to have also taken care of the issue I was having where my custom "no box art" images weren't showing for everything, but that could have been a side effect of it actually getting through all the images.
Hope that helps!
