Start up Screen unreadable

When starting DIG the Start up Screen is unreadable.

you can click on the big letters and it will change to the category but is does not go the normal home screen.

This has occurred a few times now and ended up reinstalling to fix (but loose all my settings)

DIG version 1.39.6

Theme Riivive Huntzman

Android Nvidia Shield P2897

Any ideas please?
