Mame 2003 plus not launching

Whenever I select an arcade game through DiG it just launches retroarch as normal then o have to select the core and load the content.

I have checked that the set is pointed to the correct core and everything else opens fine. It’s a bit of a ball ache and was hoping someone had a solution?

    Did you go into Settings, select App and choose Reset RetroArch config since setting everything up? If not start with that.
