Is there a way to turn off the music in dig?

ideally I’d like to keep the sounds from a theme but I don’t want background music always playing

    There should be a pause button - by default it's in the upper right corner but if the theme has a toolbar it would be top middle or bottom middle of your screen.

    If you use a file explorer you can delete any audio tracks you'd rather not listen to from a particular theme from there. The address is typically main storage/Android/data/com.digdroid.alman.dig/files/Themes.
