what are the "in app purchases"??

hi.

I am new to Dig. today I opened up the app for the first time, on my nvidia shield. I see a number of games that i own, plus a potential more games that I could play.

there is a notice of "in app purchases". what do these payments mean? how much? is this a per game download, or a subscription or for a group of games?

    There are a number of functions that are premium IS merged setd, that you need to pay, but you can choose three features to use for free the rest can be unlocked by buying the app for $4.

    Also There is no game downloads, as it's just a frontend for games especially emulated games
