MAME vs FBA

I have been using Retroarch with FBA games, but I recently added a folder with some MAME games that aren't covered by FBA. I would like MAME to be separate from the current arcade system as it will use a different emulator. Is there a way to do this, maybe to have a specific MAME system? I have MAME4Droid currently set up independently, but I guess I might need to switch to Retroarch do to incompatibility of MAME4Droid with Dig?
