NXE Dashboard Theme (2010 Xbox Theme)
XBOX 360 THEME
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Xbox, I've been working on a theme that's heavily inspired by the 2010 Xbox Kinect Dashboard.
After looking at several videos and screenshots from 10 years ago and with the help of Xenia, I was able to piece together the dashboard with a few slight changes.
The game list was the biggest part I had to improvise with since the actual menu from the 360 can't easily be recreated since the number of games and the position can't fully be controlled. The menu I came up with is more of a hybrid between the storage menu and the downloads menu.
NXE ULTIMATE PACK
The NXE Ultimate pack is a big pack that has the 4 Main themes, with linear game list versions included and additional icons for any person that was to complete that 360 menu feel.
The little icons are intended for the vertical menu while the game cover icons are for the linear menu. My plan is to add more icons in the future.
Game Themed Dashboards
After I got the hang of the first 4 Xbox themes, I decided to work on making themes centered around the various games from the 360 era and experimented with a few ones from Xbox One/Series x era. Think of it like the downloadable themes from the marketplace. Note: Due to file size, these are all separate themes.
While I mostly tried to be rather by the book with how the theme works, I did play around with some of the home dashboards and made them animated. Something that the actual dashboard didn't have at the time.
Additional Systems (NXE Ultimate)
There are 85 supported systems in all of the packs and 26 bonus ones are featured exclusively in the NXE Ultimate Pack. More may be added in the future.
So with all that outta the way, here is the download for the themes.
DOWNLOAD: Xbox 360 Theme
Make sure to be on the current version of Dig and if game icons are clipping the sides, change the icon aspect ratio to 2:1 in the drop down menu.

This one must be extracted with a zip extractor (ZArachiver, etc). The themes inside however can be installed within the Dig app.

Summary
While it took slightly over 3 months to complete, I frankly think this idea was worth it. I sincerely hope you enjoy and feedback is appreciated. 👍️

VERY GOOD THEME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great design, you do everything very beautifully, probably you work in this area?
now I have a retro tv box in the xbox style + xbox itself)))))
A total triumph Buster. It looks stunning. It's easy to forget that I'm not looking at an actual 360 dashboard. Is it possible for you to share a blank icon template and the font used for the system descriptions so I can fully populate my system list.
Amazing work.
Please make a version for a resolution of 1920 × 1080 (FULL HD), icons do not fit.
Hmm, Do you mind if you can possibly show a picture or a screenshot of the menu? Because either the icon aspect ratio might need to change (as mentioned in the post) or the screen resolution in the settings isn't set for the theme's size (which I recommend either choose theme or 16:9).

Few more.
And more
Man you guys really keeping this frontend alive. Hopefully we hear from the creator at some point and it's not abandoned, but keep up the great work in the meantime.
I hope so as well. I've seen a lot of good themes made this year that frankly deserve to be on the actual theme section and not just put in the discussions. My hope is if the creator comes back he'll consider adding a mod to approve themes and prevent spam bots from attacking the forum. Only time will tell.... :/
Oh man, I wish this would happen. If DiG is abandoned then at least let someone keep this forum going for those that even with is faults and limitations, still see DIG as the best frontend solution on Android.
Which is why I hope he would possibly consider that as an option. I can tolerate some of the missing features and some of the bugs never being fixed, but I feel like the forum is the one that needs to be managed (at least the theme section). If themes started getting approved more frequently, it would probably encourage more people to create and submit them.
If you want to download all of the icons above created by Chalotron, they are now included in the icons only pack. It can be found in the system icons folder.

After working on this theme for 3 straight months, I mostly took a break as it was very time consuming to make. Currently I've been working on projects outside of Dig, but most likely when I get back making themes again, the next one will probably be Game Room 3.0. As for more game icons, those will hopefully be ready later in the year.
Bumping this due to the discussions section being drowned with spam.
What I'd give to be a moderator on this forum. It's really unfortunate with how neglected it's become, especially with something as promising as DIG.
Very true
Now that this post can be seen without being drowned with spam, I might possibly release a template for the game covers that people can use.
The idea of it would be to cover different genres and systems (Like the Gamecube cover).
