Unified Retroarch settings
Having a separate configuration file for Retroarch is confusing, weird, and a constant source of headaches for people already using Retroarch. I think it would be a good idea to default to always run with and save changes in the standard global Retroarch configuration, and only create a Dig specific file if the user wants a feature that requires it (I assume that would be gamepad binding, something that not everyone wants/needs if Retroarch is already configured)
Something needs to be done either way, because you have people saving savestates while using Dig and then not finding them in Retroarch, or making Gamepad binding changes in Retroarch and then not having these show up in Dig, and it's just weird. Dig is shaping up to be a great launcher, but this needs to be addressed IMO.

I do agree!
This should be changed to use always the retroarch cfg file.
